Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1904 — Market Street. This ready-to-hang wooden framed print features a carefully restored historical photograph from the Detroit Photographic Co. archive.

Seen from Eighth Street toward Philadelphia City Hall, this view records one of the city’s principal commercial corridors at a moment of rapid transformation. Streetcars, horse-drawn vehicles and pedestrians animate the scene, while the Market Street Elevated — built between 1904 and 1907 — was beginning to reshape movement through central Philadelphia.

The photograph has been digitally restored to recover detail, tonal separation and clarity while preserving the character of the original image. Printed on premium matte paper and supplied in a pine wood frame with shatterproof transparent plexiglass and hanging hardware, the artwork arrives ready to hang — no additional framing is required.
