New York City, 1913 — Saint Thomas Church on Fifth Avenue. This ready-to-hang wooden framed print features a carefully restored historical photograph from the Detroit Photographic Co. archive.

The present Saint Thomas Church was designed by Cram, Goodhue & Ferguson in the French High Gothic tradition after the previous church on the site was destroyed by fire in 1905. The new building opened for its first service on October 4, 1913, making this photograph a view from the very beginning of one of Fifth Avenue’s major ecclesiastical landmarks.

The photograph has been digitally restored to recover detail, tonal separation and clarity while preserving the character of the original image. Printed on premium matte paper and supplied in a pine wood frame with shatterproof transparent plexiglass and hanging hardware, the artwork arrives ready to hang — no additional framing is required.
